ABOUT ENVIROPRO
As the Managing Director, Josette is both EAPASA (2019/221) and SACNASP registered (120414) and has 23 years’ experience in the field of environmental impact assessments, at Basic Assessment and Scoping & EIR level.
In the last 15 years, EnviroPro has successfully completed in excess of 1200 Environmental Applications and 500 Water Use Authorisations.
Our applications range from small to large infrastructure projects and have also included private residential (single houses to estates), commercial (shopping centres/office parks) and industrial developments (factories/filling stations/tank farms etc), as well as renewable energy projects (large scale solar PV farms).
We have conducted multiple and diverse projects across South Africa requiring application for Atmospheric Emissions Licences (AEL), Waste Management Licences (WML) as well as municipal scheduled trade permits and permits for the removal of protected species. We have a dedicated consultant working on Water Use Authorisations and have significant experience with full Water Use Licence applications and General Authorisation’s for a full range of developments covering infrastructure within watercourses, water abstraction, dams, sewage plants etc. We have experience in mining applications for both government and private individuals, our focus area being borrow pits, hard rock quarries and sand mining applications. EnviroPro successfully audits upwards of 40 construction sites per month and another 30 operational sites on a quarterly/annual/biannual basis throughout the country. We have experience in a variety of auditing from infrastructure construction projects, Waste Management Licenses, and landfill auditing as well as compliance and environmental due diligence/status quo audits for industrial sites.
We pride ourselves on being facilitative in our approach and thrive on the challenge of finding workable solutions that meet the requirements of both the project and the environment. We firmly believe that our role as the EAP is to think strategically and carefully about each project and to provide practical useful feedback. Environmental processes are often seen as stumbling blocks to development, but with the correct approach by the EAP and specialists, it can and should add tremendous value.
