Infrastructure and line Development Projects
We have logged hundreds of hours in the assessment of line developments including road, bridge and stormwater infrastructure, sewerage and water reticulation, gas pipeline and electrical distribution lines falling within both deep rural and urban environments.
Industrial, Commercial and Residential developments
Having worked extensively on various industrial applications as well as on the implementation and assessment of ISO 14001 environmental Management Systems we are well versed in assessing industrial applications. We have assessed applications for the chemical and paint sectors, are familiar with requirements for general and medical waste facilities and recyclers and are conversant with the processes involved in paper, glass and packaging production. We are also familiar with green fields developments having worked on various commercial, residential and mixed use developments and are able to offer sound advice on sustainable development practices and managing and protecting sensitive systems on site. We have also worked on numerous subsidised housing projects within the eThekwini area and are familiar with the environmental process in relation to the establishment of cemeteries. We are well versed in the strict requirements for public participation and can assure the smooth and efficient running of these processes. We are now also able to offer expertise on the field of green buildings.
Ecological knowledge and work within coastal areas
We have a sound grounding in the assessment of impacts within the terrestrial, fresh water and estuarine environments and have the ability to manage and understand complex and sensitive EIAs with respect to sensitive systems and coastal processes.
